mp, I have to concede that I share your concerns. HWP is looking weak. Earnings expectations will probably have to come down a bit. Long term though I think HWP will recover. I am looking for a spin-off (as talked about in IBD), or a major restructuring to initiate some momentum.

i think HP already preannounced when Lew gave a dim outlook on the Asian economies. he said that they had a billion dollars in business in south korea last year and wont do more than 400 million this year. He didnt offer any offsetting comments like strength in europe, us, etc like Sun has to indicate that its quarter is on track.

now why given the pounding HP has taken cant he give positive guidance that there quarter is on track - im not saying pre announce like intel but give some message that people should feel positive about this stock - unless of course theres nothing to be positive about.
