The SpinDoctors are trying to convince the electorate that "it's just about sex." They are quite wrong and the crux of the matter is that they don't want to recognize, or fail to realize, the central issues. The central and penultimate issues are INTEGRITY, HONESTY and FAIRNESS. Words that may pass the lips of the White House but not via the soul. What about fairness to Paula Jones and her rights? How about complete honesty to the American people instead of dissembling and prevarication? Clinton has lost his integrity and should no longer represent the US just as any average citizen would have lost their job fooling around with a 21-yr.old intern at work. Any politician that supports this man staying in office deserves to lose their job too. Unfortunately, the central issue in the mind of the Clintonites is one of remaining in power. It now appears we will have a protracted, long-running, divisive battle on Capitol Hill regardless of the consequences. Bill, and Hilliary, obviously care far more about power than the Nation. An honorable man would have fallen on his sword and a woman with an ounce of pride would have moved out of the White House long ago. At a time when the Nation needs leadership we're going to get a circus that will make the OJ trial seem like a humorous five minute Monty Python sketch. And the market thinks this is good???? The central issue for the market is forward earnings and the outlook there is also deteriorating.
