The CYMI announcement seems a good news/bad news announcement. On one hand the cutbacks suggest that boom times will not be arriving immediately -- which few on this thread at least were expecting. The good news is that this will allow the company to weather an extended down period with less bleeding. That had been a concern of mine, so on balance I think the announcement that they will be able to pull off the cutbacks and come in with profits near estimates is a positive one. It quantifies some of the downside fears and should help give the stock a floor. Since CYMI will be one of the early leaders once semi equipment spending begins to recover, I think the stock will start to rise in anticipation of that.
