Main Entry: preúclude
Pronunciation: pri-'kld
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): preúcludúed; preúcludúing
Etymology: Latin praecludere, from prae- + claudere to close -- more at CLOSE
Date: 1629
1 archaic : CLOSE
2 : to make impossible by necessary consequence : rule out in advance

With this in mind I offer Michael Sylver's statement:
It was with our shareholders in mind for whom we took action to prevent the rampant shorting, effecting both Bulletin Board and NASDAQ companies, from precluding our growth.

Now removing his obvious attempt to even remotely associate AZNT with other NASDAQ securities, what is left is the rather curious notion that "rampant shorting" is "precluding" the growth of AZNT.

A marvel of twisted logic and Press Release Doublespeak that lays bare the fact that AZNT, other than the sale of its stock, really has not much else going for it from any fundamental product sales or other "business" related transactions. Hence of course the apparently unconscionable delay in reporting their financial condition. Shame on you Michael Sylver.

Couldn't you have waited for Icabod [sic]? I'm sure he'll post the PR another ten times. I'm curious, really: what is the POINT? Bmart's done it three times; you once, and yours is is response to his.

I don't get it.
