Excuse me? Did you miss where Amazon ran up from 40 to 144 in 2 weeks? Or how about the part where it dropped from 130 to 65 in 1 week?

40% in 5 weeks is NOTHING.

I do agree the premiums on the puts are ridiculous, but that's because everyone knows it is going down and you can't short the actual shares- so puts are the only place to go.
