This tag line just appear in my E*Trade full stock viewing page when I took a look at TDFX:

"Short Sales in this security are subject to NASD regulations, UPC 11830."

And when I went back to look 2 minutes later it was gone (!) I know it was there, because I cut the text off of one page and pasted it here...

What do you suppose it up with this?

Off Topic: Troubled Yahoo.

I think that a very few extremely arrogant, rude people dropped in at about the same time. Everyone else insists on responding to them, or telling everyone else that they're fools for being offended (when they get called names.) Mosts of the posts look like they're made by 16 year olds (and may be, for all I know.)

Posts have degenerated into:
1) Bragging about how smart the poster is.
2) Telling others that they are morons.
3) Telling others that they are afraid to debate real issues.
4) All or some of the above.

I think part of it is that on SI people can't create multiple personalities (at least not cheaply). Also people are willing to invest time to spread FUD, but not money.

Of course I got my account for free, so...

It's gonna tank! Ballard just sent me a telegram stating very clearly that they hadn't sold a single chipset in a month and a half!
