Just wanted to recap some points from JP Morgan conference on 9-10-98:
1)Co had plans of IPO for Nextel Intl as early as 4th qtr 1998; however, due to market conditions this has been temporarily scrapped. Moreover, acquisition strategy in Latin America has also been set aside temporarily for the next 6-12 months. In addition, company has sufficient funds to operate into early 1999.

2)Nextel has enough capital to fund operations through the first half of 1999. Three options to increase liquidity: 1)Strategic partner(preferred option) 2)Increase equipment financing agreement with Motorola 3)Sell towers(intends to close on tower sale by end of year)
