Lying under oath is a crime. Clinton is just like you and me in terms of being accountable under the law. The law does not ask why someone broke the law, that's irrelevant. The reasons may be intimate, personal, or good ones in the view of the criminal. But if a law is broken, there are consequences.

Star was appointed to do this job. If you recall a few years ago, many Dems were praising the decision that it was Star and not some others who they feared would be unfair and partisan. He was also given permission by the Atty General to expand his investigation based on evidence presented.

We can forgive the president, you can think what you want about him, but he broke the law and should pay. His reasons for doing so are not the issue.
