Mr K.

I don't think Chuzz. is pointing to the magnitude neccesarily, what he is pointing to is the effect of the said "infraction".

Clinton's lying about an extra-marital affair in no way has an effect on how he governs the country. Many will say if he lies when it comes to an affair he'll lie in everyday events. Starr's report does not bear this out. His extra-marital affair was private, should have remained private (between clinton's and lewinski's) and that's it. This is different than lying about material issue which affect how we govern our country. If anything, the investigation has caused more trouble for the country than the affair. We should sue Starr for spending money on a set of erroneous,non-matierial events targeted at discrediting the president. Unable to find a serious infraction in his working life they dug deep into his personal life to find something they could use against him. Bottom line, Clinton did nothing worth impeaching a president over... He did not risk national security, make poor desicions (in fact the opposite could be argued), or breach good faith in any way. He had an affair and lied about it. Moreover is was consentual. I don't know of anyone that would lose their job for having a consentual affair at work. They might get reprimanded...but losing you job- NOT. And now we're talking about the stability of the country... perhaps the stability of the world...over a consentual affair. GIVE ME A BREAK
