I am a WHO who CARES! The basis for my caring is: TRUST has been broken, on many levels, to many people. You want to speak of arrogance? How about the arrogance that originates in the thinking that because one is in a powerful place the law of "consequences following trust breaking actions is not repealed by apology(ies)" is some how moot and exclusionary by virtue of said life's station? "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" is the languaging another learned person expressed the same conclusion. O/49r

I agree with those who say this is much ado about "almost" nothing. The Starr report reads like a Judith Kranz novel. Its luridness is designed to imflame emotion, but there is little substance of "impeachable" offense. There are fundamental infractions to which the constitution refers when impeachment is at issue. This is another example of the right-wing moralists yielding way too much power in this country. Clinton is not our first "sleazy" president, nor will he be our last. The fundamental infractions of Reagan's administration make Clinton's pale in comparison. JB
