Jim,good luck,I just figured after the week I had, it would be prudent to step aside over the weekend and Monday try to determine what the market sentiment is. This week and last,I just traded contrary to the direction of the DOW @ 3:00pm,if it was up I sold, down I bought. With luck on my side the following day was the reverse,so I was out when going down and in when going up. I know one shouldn't try and time the market, but I was successful 80% of the time on the right days(except that killer Monday<g> and this week Weds[should have got out after Tues big run]). My plan is to continue my course until the volatility dwindles or something major changes.Have a good weekend, and to be honest,I hope the volatility continues for awhile.;^)

"As for the Starr report... Basically about sex... Doesn't fit the high crimes and misdemeanors definition..."

I've been reading the full report, and I'm not sure we're talking about the same document. It shows a President who repeatedly lied under oath to deny a woman her day in court who his spokesman called "trailor trash" and who he likely sexually harassed, who lied under oath to cover up his prior lies, who urged others to do the same, who obstructed justice by hiding evidence and then lying about doing so, who used the considerable power of his office to attack the reputation of those who dared to call him to task for his immoral and illegal behavior, and who continues to hide behind transparently false legal distinctions and word games to hang onto power.

Now's not yet the time to go long. There are enough people like me who find Clinton's behavior intolerable, and whose moral outrage will be helping to create political pressure for him to resign or be impeached. If he truly cared for the country, he would step down and simply go quietly away, never to be seen or heard from again.

Oh, by the way -- on a lighter note, EGRP and AMFM are good shorts right now.

-- Jim

<"As for the Starr report... Basically about sex... Doesn't fit the high crimes and misdemeanors definition..."> Jim, the way I'm thinking about this dilemma is, through my federal taxes, I pay Clinton's salary as well as furnish him with a roof over his head. If I caught an employee leaning on one of my machines,on one of my jobs, getting a little head on my time,I would either kick his ass,can his ass,or both of the above. What is different in Clinton's situation, in your opinion? Granted I am not a prude, but greedy as hell..DD
PS: I apologize for the graphics. If we don't impeach him, I would propose a "spanking line",Bill could crawl on the floor, bare-assed naked through the House of Representatives, each congressman and congresswoman armed with a paddle(with holes drilled in it-less air resistance)could give'm a good smack on the ass-all publicly televised of course.. Or they could each take a cigar and..........
