Holding positions 1-3 days.. I've gotten a few e-mail this weekend mentioning my holding positions lately overnight. Yes, I feel that if you are extremely discriminating and selective there are a few stocks out there that can be held even as long as 1 week or more. I've held GADZ, CPU for a few days. I've held long positions overnight: CMVT, LCOS, DELL,ORCL...overnight. I've held 'short positions' overnight: CCI,DELL,YHOO,AMZN.. In fact the 4 positions I hesitated holding overnight would have been quite fine if I had.

I DID NOT and should have held ABX, CDG, RON, JDEC overnight.. My observation is that now that earnings season is coming closer, I will be holding for longer periods, and even occasionally through the earnings report. I feel that so many stocks are now sitting on their 52 week low or 200 day moving average that there is now more upside than downside.

Huge move on BKB - in fact, all banks made huge move probably due to Brazil's big turnaround. Instead of us lowering the rate to save Latin America, Brazil raise rate by 0.50 percent to stem the slide of its currency. BKB is very prominent in Latin America particularly in Argentina.

I dont think banks are out of the wood yet, we would see some backing and filling from here.

One thing I notice, banks turned around when the yield went above 3%, BKB, NB.
