To even think of posting a prediction so depressing, you must have lots of stock in whichever company sells Prozac. We're gonna need a lot of it before this mess is over.

Right thing to do would be to get Clinton's butt out of office for directly coming on TV scorching mad and declaring to the American people "I did not have sexual relations with that woman-- Monica Lewinsky." The President is fake and everyone knows it, yet he gets a good approval rating because he is slick willy and the economy is good. I suppose you are right, Clinton will not be impeached because of the matter that it involves. Not even Hustler magazine could have came up with this story line: PRESIDENT GETS IMPEACHED OVER BJ COVERUP. All you can do is laugh about all of this. Whether Clinton gets impeached or not, this scandal has been very damaging and weaking to what was once the most coveted title in the world-- The President of the United States. Now the title is just a big joke. KM

Given this, here are my predictions for the coming months:

A good synopsis and series of predictions. Given this is key. I believe the revelations will continue and the damage will be more than your predictions. The man has a lot to hide and there is an army looking for more. Starr has more to show for the 40+ mil. Will the next mantra be to call off Starr? The sexual diversion / side track will get old soon.

I believe we can survive six more months of ineffective leadership but two years will do serious harm to the nation. The nature of the millenium and current instabilities requires international leadership if only by example. Clinton ran on a domestic platform. He is not up to the task especially in his weakened state.

What type of withdrawal symptoms will he exhibit when he does not get his sexual fixes? If we have to live with this guy we would probably be better off giving him a harem. We would be far better off if he were to resign tomorrow. There is another elected official who can take his place.

I believe the issues go beyond the political and legal aspects. **Legally accurate **...get real. What would it have been if he said he had sex?? an illegal statement!!..impeachable?? What we need is a good dose of honor and ethics from our leaders. If that means two thirds of Washington is sent packing then so be it.

There is Substantial and Credible Information that all should be
very pleased that after $40,000,000+ and hundreds of man years of investigational effort, the most egregious "Abuse of Power" that the leader of the most powerful entity known to exist in the universe was found to be: dishonesty about occasional "oral sex".

Is the glass half empty or half full?

Zero, Nothing wrong with his business dealings or the first lady's or whatever matter of substance Starr was appointed to investigate. Nothing on Filegate, Whitewater, Travelgate, illegal campaign contributions, the Chinese connection, Vince Foster, Ron Brown, nor any other alleged Clinton Administration misdeeds.
Let's celebrate!

If power corrupts, then this President must not have had much of it.
What a waste.

I think this is a great opportunity to see how the legal system works
in the U.S. It may encourage an exploration of some of the
difficulties and costs associated with our civil & criminal justice
system.

While he was lying about the Lewinsky affair:

1) He lied about the Iraq U.N. arms inspection

2) He lied about the Sudan chemical weapons factory

More serious than his lying is how he squandered privileges, such as the Secret Service privilege. He tried to avoid having the Secret Service and other White House staff testify in order that they continue to cover-up for his addiction. He also told Cabinet members and Congressmen to lie for him without their knowledge by telling them he was innocent. He wasted a lot of government money and people's time to cover-up for his illness. It's safe to assume that he spends a lot of his time planning, carrying out, and covering up his episodes, and that much of the credit for accomplishments go to his staff and cabinet, not to him.
