Many of the best traders buy and sell on technicals alone. They don't care whether the company makes money, they don't care what their products are: they care about the chart, and nothing else. Of course, it might be fair to say they're playing other people's emotions. Candlestick charts, for example, expose these very clearly.

Greed is the biggest emotional player of all. Being aware of this relationship will determine whether you are a winner or loser in a particular pick. And being a part of it is why you are here. It allows individuals without integrity to attempt to mis state facts as you have done on to occasions today in an attempt to manipulate the price of a security in the short term purely on rumor. (The school of Carl) I have no respect for you. You no longer have any credibility on this thread. It has now become obvious to most here (findstock is a special case). It is in fact fundamentals that drive a stock price over the long term. Why is EDII so intent on not disclosing theirs? Good Night. jmt
