Hi Shadow, I'm a registered Republican, but certainly not a blind-following member. The idea of a lopsided Republican congress and a Republican president makes me very nervous.

Regarding your comments, I have said for sometime that (from a policy perspective, not a character one) that Clinton is the best moderate Republican president we've ever had !

I believe credit for our prosperity and national accomplishments over the last decade are not attributable to a Democratic president nor to a Republican congress, but rather the balance between moderate and enlightened party leadership in both branches.

I say let Clinton stay ... then nail his @ss right immediately after the 2001 inauguration. His crime are crimes, but not impeachment worthy.

Making sure we have a line item veto is a good idea too.
