Thanks for the explanation on Variable MAs. That's a new on one me. It sounds a little like the concept behind Bollinger Bands, although I've never messed with them. I know they adjust according to the volatility of price.

I need to do some work on this. Thanks again.

richard summed it up well. The concepts are explained in more detail as Tushar Chande's "The New Technical Trader". As he said WOW and GET won't do these. You need to goto MS, TS, TFP or others to get them.
