Ron,

the $14.95/$17.50 minimum should be for the first 1000 shares (in the same stock), not trade so your first 500 would be charged the $14.95, the second 500 would be free after that it is a per share charge

You are correct. The second 500 share buy/sell trade is free. No commission. Just a tiny SEC fee on the sell side.

the per share charge is great if you trade one or two stocks over and over again in the same day, or buy and sell in pieces

Again, correct. This is exactly what I do. Typically, I trade INTC about 15 to 20 times a day, if not more.

I average maybe 15 trades a day and have my commissions well under a penny a share total if I trade over about 2000 shares

Interesting. My commission, as I said, is 1.4 cents per share. I will certainly inquire about a rate below that. What is your per share rate, if you don't mind my asking?

I'm curious why you trade in person, although their net site sucks big time the newer 32 bit trading program works super for me, fast and great fills, could you share more?

Are you talking about FOX when you refer to the 32 bit trading program? I once tried to install it but never got it to work. Perhaps I should try again. Beyond that, I frankly like trading in person. It helps to temper my judgment about entering/exiting, a second brain to work with.

Best,
Gary Korn
