E :

I cannot believe I took this stock down to this level.

Yes, you did and we all hold you personally liable! In fact, if Jock's not doing anything for the next 6-8 years, we might ask him to get a class action certified (strictly on a contingent fee basis, you understand)--we can use Beachbumm's erstwhile contestants list as the plaintiffs list--and, once we prevail, we'll divide the plunder prorationally based on the number of LSI shares held. Lead plaintiff (Wolf) gets the mountain bike...

Oh, wait...I see--you mean you can't believe you didn't bail completely out earlier and have taken the ride all the way down with the rest of us? ...as Rosanna Rosannadana would have said: "Never mind."<ggg>

Regards,
Wolf

If anyone has $1,995 to bust up for no good reason, here's the
1997 Dataquest report on chip companies in the Consumer Electronics
segment:

gartner3.gartnerweb.com
Product code is: MSAM-WW-CT-9801 came out in August of this year.

(the above "link" will not work - go to dataquest.com and seach for lsi logic)
