Hi Susan,
Yes I use Win95.

"do you want the deleted software titles removed from your "Start Up" menu?"
No, what I'm trying to figure out how to do is to get the deleted software titles to not show up on the list on the "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel.

If you delete software any way other than the "Add/Remove Programs", the software is deleted but the title remains forever in the "Add/Remove Programs" list. Isn't really that big of deal, I just find it odd and figure there was some way to fix it.

I downloaded the set of PowerToy tools from Microsoft that includes the TweakIU that someone suggested, and although when you use it it appears like it should do what I'm trying to do, everytime I bring up the "Add/Remove Programs" list, the old software names are still there. Oh well.
