What you're missing is that Clinton hasn't done a damn thing for the economy. And while I am happy he hasn't, that means he can't lay claim to the "good times". Alan Greenspan, on the other hand, can. As such, I WILL applaud Clinton's rare occasion of good judgement (leaving Greenspan in place). From that perspective, I agree with you, I am better off because Greenspan has been in his position. However, on virtually every other front, I am appalled at Clinton's attempts to use the government to infiltrate our lives and livelihoods. We all stink because of him. He has sold our country to the highest bidder...and China is a happy recipient. Are we in better shape now? I can tentatively say yes...but I am a bull. Based on the increased # of bears I'm seeing and hearing, it could be that Clinton may become the next Hoover. That isn't a prognostication....just a viewpoint. I do know one thing. Clinton will NEVER be considered well in the annals of history. And not because of Monica. And he'll never hold a decent job after he's out of office. Certainly not one of the 2 he really wanted (Sec.Gen. of the UN or Chief Justice).
