Dear Ron, What you have not witnessed yet is a population that is in a total panic. A population that is confused and hurting. A population that is greedy and selfish at the same time. This kind of people will "approve" of ANYTHING that will take away their "suffering". I am not clear as to what this "suffering" will be composed of -- yet. If Christians are still here (you see, I do not count on a Rapture before all of the gloom -- but would welcome it), then perhaps Y2K could bring down the power -- although the "experts" say this can't happen. A couple of months with no power would be incentive enough alone to have 99% of humanity give up all their freedoms to have a world government take care of this ONE problem. A Rapture in itself would also accomplish the same thing as everyone's natural greed scrambled to find any way to determine what material possessions went where. There are many scenarios which could accomplish what you may think is impossible. Watch Israel. It is the key to the end. I remain, SOROS
