are forward splits an effective weapon to fight the shorts here is dmil release how does this hurt shorts, by increasing the total number of shares they are short, are their limits to how many shares an mm can be short before they have to cover on open market, does share count effect how mm's balance their books

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 1998--International Commercial Enterprises Inc. (OTC BB:ICEP) announced Wednesday that its board of directors has unanimously approved a sixteen for one (16:1) forward stock split of the company's issued common stock.

The record date for this forward split will be Sept. 7, 1998. The company will require its record and beneficial shareholders to tender their certificates for conversion. The forward split will not change shareholders' existing proportionate ownership. The company has requested a new Cusip number from the Cusip bureau.
