craig, Even though I disagree on some of your comments, I agree you should not initiate a short based on valuation. If so, you would have been short YHOO, AMZN, et al, all year, and unless you covered your margin calls, would have been forced out. Whether BRCM may be a good short or not remains to be seen, but to short it on valuation, even in a bear market is ludicrous. Have fun, Phil

CRAIG...REf: BRCM. Believe me when I tell you this: I HOPE YOU ARE NOT LONG BECAUSE I LIKE YOU :) TRUST ME, SELL NOW, AND BUY LATER. I WILL buy too, but not here. It is pure stupidity to buy long now. NOT MUCH UPSIDE POTENTIAL HERE. Remeber RMBS?? FROM 30's to 70's back to 40's in very short term. I think RMBS has a great potential at this valuation, BUT BRCM IS SIMPLY WAY WAY WAY WAY OUT OF LINE in today's market. AGREE? FYI, I shorted another 1kat 68 15/16, which I thought would not happen. NOW I wish it gets to over $70 to short another 1k and so on till $90. This is an ideal FAT short for me in this market, which could pay VERY VERY VERY WELL. REMEBER RMBS? LOOK AT IT's CHART , AND READ ON THE INTC INVOLVEMENT IN IT TOO. I NOW TRADE RMBS ON THE LONG SIDE, BUT AFTER I made a hefty profit from shorting it in the same manner I am now doing it with this BRCM BABY :) GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND ALL :)
