How many have seen this too?

A heavy number of sells(they look like it,don't they?) and the price goes up. What's that? Could it be a MM covering or an individual investor with a legal MM account buying at the bid? Think about it. Oh yes, individual investors with an MM account can sell at the ask too. One more facet of the market.

is there someplace i can go to search for companies if all i have is the companies name? you never answer questions at least answer this one please.

I answer questions all the time. In this case, if the company you're interested in is a reporting company, you'll find information about its acquisitions in its 10K.
