The public is going to grasp that all of this is over a few childishly embarrassing heavy petting incidents. The evasions didn't constitute legal perjury and so lying isn't enough without perjury and believe me, the Senate understands this and they aren't going to destroy the future of the American Presidency over this. There are going to be Patrick Henry level speeches delivered that will alter opinion deeply. We haven't begun to hear from the deep opinion leaders that haven't weighed in yet. CEO's of multinational corporations, Senators, Universities, etc.; great legal scholars; the American Bar Association, etc. These people understand that the country and its future are being messed with by this impeachment effort.
