what would happen if and when the universe stopped expanding and began to contract? Would the thermodynamic arrow reverse and disorder begin to decrease with time? Would people see broken cups gathering themselves together off the floor and jumping back onto the table? Would people be able to remember tomorrow's prices and make a fortune on the stock market?

While it may be true that being imitated is flattering, isn't it also true that being surpassed is demeaning? Shouldn't one protect one's position with not only offence, but defence as well? As lord of this fief, shouldn't you enlist some knights or vassals or such to enforce the groundrules when you are off to other battles? Would you agree that minor (lingual) lashings and fines would suffice to keep the conscientious contributors conscientious? Could you agree with thinking holding that deliberate, flagrant violations of format or content etiquette should be met with severe measures, such as wearing one's undergarments (includint bras and jocks) backwards for a prescribed period of time or of being labeled a NonQuestioner (NQ) until redeemed by compliance with the standards of the thread? Can sharing of discovered wonder sometimes be confused with forcing them down people's throats?
