The company (i.e., Jerry) is keeping quite about the K7 because everyone knows that AMD screws up on every other product generation (or, more optimistically, they are right 50% of the time)!

Remember the stunning success of the K5? Maybe it is an odd number thing...K5 Bad...K6 Good...K7 Bad??

That seems to be the way AMD wants it.

They will disclose details at the Microprocessor Forum next month (October 15) and I think AMD said they will show operating demos at Comdex in November.
