Maxwell, yes I do like AB Watley, but you have to be comfortable with who you pick. Since my trading of options is almost wholly reduced to index options I don't mind the little extra commission on the option trade. This is a professional trading house really geared to the frequent day/position trader. One year ago I had more options than I do now at one time, so I did care more about the commission. For me personally I always have someone to talk with there and their instant execution is great. When you buy market, it is important that if the stock is in an uptrend you can get in in under 7 seconds so it doesn't run too quickly and get away from you. I've gotten one of my best transactions on Thursday about 3:45 when I 'grabbed' LCOS and ORCL in seconds. After I got in, 5 minutes later the LCOS was up over a point on my entry.

I have an account with Datek and I'm thinking of even a third with The Executioner. I've transformed more money out of my long term portfolio last Tuesday after the market peaked over 340 points and I regained about 10%. I don't like to have more that x$ with one brokerage, no matter how good they are for obvious reasons.
