Puppydog, the electorate knew of all these "chracter shortcomings" you mention, yet the people voted this person in as President, are we trying to find a way around the "people's will"?

In my opinion, a resignation, and god forbid, impeachment proceedings would be a travesty, it would rob the people of their choice of a President. We the People, had a chance not to vote him in for a second time, knowing that he dodged the draft, that he did not "inhale" and that he was not the stellar example of fidelity. There is nothing new nor even slightly criminal in what Starr has shown us. I think it is truly "politics" at its worst, trying to subverse the "Will of the People" outside the ballot box. I think that Hillary is absolutely right, this is a conspiracy of the super right (and righteous) wing of the Republican party.

I am a registered Republican myself, full of apologies for my party which is being hijacked by the extreme religious right. This election, I am voting straight "Democratic" to show my despise as to where my party is headed.

Puppy-He got elected twice on that ticket--nothing
new--The press knew all those details years ago and the
voters chose him over Bush, the war hero, upright religious family man ---that's the real America--sorry
