Once again we have an example of how our legal system works to screw us, the public that pays the bills. No matter how tortured they make their cases, the end result is the people who are supposed to be running the country are distracted from doing what we think we are paying them to do. Another example of why the end result is usually a mess. We taxpayers pay these government lawyers to do their jobs. Instead the service we get stinks to high heaven. Why does it take 17 months for the government lawyers to issue a boiler plate document letting GRNO off the hook? What did we stockholders do to deserve that? The President's lawyer told reporters the President testified under oath that he "didn't say he wasn't alone with Monica, he said he didn't remember being alone with her". Well then he is saying he remembered them doing it while in the presence of others. Charles

Zeev, Clinton violated the spirit of the perjury law if not the narrowest of letters, and should be sentenced to community service after his term expires. But I ask, are the tobacco executives (Starr's former clients) doing community service for their perjury before Congress? HELL NO! Too much money involved. Did Mark Fuhrman do community service? The real crimes in our political system involve campaign finance, but neither the Republicans or Democrats will go there because they're all gutless hypocrites. John
