Interesting. The Yahoo message board for ELT has been discussing this for two weeks it seems. It is unclear how much they will pay in taxes. My very uneducated guess is that they should be left with a minimum of $12-13/share. This should add at least a couple of bucks a share to EMITF. Unfortunately, I sold a lot of my EMITF recently and have only 2k shares left. Luckily, I bought some ELRNF a short while ago as a cowards way to play some of this. Incidentally, Haaretz had an article last week speculating that Tadiran, since its sale of TTELF to ECILF, might be interested in purchasing ELBIT SYSTEMS (ELSTF), so ELRNF should benefit from the announced deal as well as from the speculation regarding ESLTF, since it owns 40% of EMITF and 40% of ESLTF. Any other ideas out there regarding eventual stock prices for ELT and EMITF?
