Defector?
Since the prices are within the same range and since I (and you) have lost any financial interest in 3DFX the TNT is looking pretty good to me. Somebody PLEASE give me a rational reason why I shouldn't buy the TNT card now.
Is there any games it won't support, is the performance noticeably different than V2, maybe compatibility issues...anything?

I'm holding my finger back with my left hand from pushing the BUY button awaiting your response.

>> RIVA TNT at Best Buy for $169.99- How can this be?

Check out TnT at cdw.com.

cdw.com

It appears for real that TnT boards will sell for less than $175. I wonder what that will do to the price of Voodoo based boards and Banshee. I would think that nVidia would be crazy to start a price war for market share considering TDFX's financial reserves. This is going to get ugly and the street is watching.

I'm still pro TDFX as a company but considering this type of environment I don't see any profits to be had in the near term as an investor. After all, that's why we're all here right? To make some money!

Stuart
