No, I do not dismiss perjury lightly. I believe I said I understand why he lied. I feel there is a big difference between understanding and dismissing. I also believe if his family was so important to him, he wouldn't be doing the dirty deed with "the other woman." If this were you or I in the spotlight they would hang us by our toes. The fact is that this life isn't always fair and we don't always get the justice that is deserved. One day we, and that includes you as well, will answer to the things we have done (good, bad and indifferent). During this judgement it will not matter if you are rich or poor and/or the President or a plumber.

The opinions on this board, as well as the television, vary greatly. I can see points on both side. But if we are not careful we could do more damage than good when all is said and done. The question is: Do we take that risk????
