HA HA ... A SET UP???? I have 2 kids, and I don't worry that they are injured by this at all. Look, Monica isn't a poor sap - and nobody EVER claimed she was. If anything, the media has VILIFIED her. I don't know what planet you are on, but I haven't read word one about her being "poor Monica". As for Clinton not wanting his family to know, let's consider this: Hillary knew well in advance due to Bill's previous dalliances (don't deny it...her office had Monica removed) If Bill was protecting anyone...it was himself. He was simply giving Hillary an excuse to lash out about "conspiracy theories" (which, in retrospect, now looks silly on her part). If Bill was protecting his family...why does engage in this behavior in the 1st place? Sure, we all have flaws. Some of us are man enough to live up to them, though. (Charliss...talk about asking questions about yourself...that's a good place for people to start). Finally, who among you didn't smile and wink when Clarence Thomas was similarly tried? At least with him, there was NOT ONE JOT OF ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. He owned up to his behavior, but simply denied that the activity was harassment. Whether any of us care to believe it, or even think it matters is moot. Point is, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I think the tone of both this and Thomas' hearings are lurid and juvenile and not worthy of the time spent. However, the time and money has been spent, so let's be honest about the whole thing. There is considerably more illegal activity surrounding Clinton.
