>.But like the rest of his brethren he may stumble headfirst into the old cliche: " be careful what you wish for." The Law of Unintended Consequences is waiting ever so patiently to pounce once again on the unsuspecting. Unfortunately, the suspecting get pounced right along with them.

You describe perfectly what the Democrats have brought upon themselves. This is karma.

Too bad Clinton had to waste $120,000,000 sending those "Monica missiles" to blow up third-worlders just to change the topic.

Well, thank you for the kind words Lazarre. However, I suspect that the first order of business following the Republican sweep in the '98 elections will be to put this statute in the dustbin of history. Glad to see you posting again. JLA

"As for you and your 40M investigation, in a more grounded place and time your sorry a$$ would be sailing out the door into the ether for all the obvious."

I am not sure what the above statement means. But that's ok. I have a question for all of you. In this day and age where all seem to be decrying our state of moral decay, do you think the world is getting better or worse?

I personally think it is getting better. Especially when you look back 2000 years. Most of the people I meet and work with, wether we agree or disagree on politics and religion, are good hearted genuine people who respect the differences without letting it blind them yo our common humanity.

And to be clear on the Clinton issue I do not like what the president did. Not the details of his sexual antics. God forbid that a camera be placed in all of our bedrooms (I mean, be honest, who could face there fellow workers the next day without a reddening face when the details of what you did the night before are in black and white for all to see; no matter how tame your sex life) Lying and the cheating on his wife, though something I detest is not what gives me the greatest pause. These are human foibles that I can acknowledge and move on from with a solid eye of skepticism on his future actions. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. No these are not the most troubling issues. It is the lack of judgment. How could he have an illicit affair with a 22 year old and not know this would come about? Why did he do it? We will probably never know.

Good fortune to all.
