Does your net friend have any opinion about
the biotech charts of late. Obviously there has
been some action in the big guys, bgen being a
nice winner of late. I try to do a little of that
--watching the charts. Often if the chart trends
down I'll bail at a loss of 20%--or add a second
"third" to continue averaging in if I'm not yet
at a full position. Lately any system that I at
least imagined I had seems to have broken down,
I found myself hopping around and accumulating 20%
losses, hehe.

There is a thread here on SI for trying to catch things
as they trend up--(Charts for bottom breakout), it's
something to check out if you like to trade.

The fellow who sort of runs the thread I am sure is an
honest fellow, Ed, and there is probably very little
if any "pump and dump" on the thread.

Of course charting and the micro-biotechs probaby do not
go together--when there is an important discovery or
a report of successful trials, forget about catching
one as it breaks through the 13 day moving average! Before
you can get your order in the stock will have opened for
huge gains. I supposed one has to be in for the long haul
as they say, but finding bottoms in stocks is tough.
Although the recent market correction means that a lot
of small cap, and especially biotech, have probably been
forced down to artificial bottoms. Just a thought--time to
get offline! You have a good weekend too.
