Larry, BB: using the flu analogy, I think SV is at that stage now where you wake up in the morning and don't quite feel right. Is it a cold? or 1 glass too many of the '82 Margaux you opened last night? The evidence is mostly anecdotal. Many companies have hiring freezes in place (SUNW for example). I have several friends in real estate... they are seeing the first ever-so-subtle-signs of demand for residential real estate softening. Could be a blip, or the first signs of a recession Milken was writing of. F.
