Divvie - interesting thoughts. Nice to get back on track after the diversion! As bandwidth to the home increases, I think we'll see less and less PC "OS" and more and more net-driven applications. There was a tiny company over 15 years ago that launched a "software rental" via download idea - never really got off the ground, but I think the next opportunity is to develop a business model that lets people pay for the USE of an application as opposed to keeping it on their machine. Sound familiar? It should - we're doing it with SI! Just more random thoughts for the weekend. Mr. K.
