>he's bald faced lied to the public over and over.

Yes, he has lied to the public, his cabinet, his wife and others.
My bottom line is did he lie under oath. If so, I agree, he
should resign. If not, I think he should be censured by Congress.

Do I believe he is remorseful....Yes, if for no other reason
then he got caught perhaps, but if the lies are about sex, how
many other Senator's, Congressmen, Judges, etc. have also lied?

Where are the indictments over WhiteWater or lies over any other
matter besides sex??.....there are NONE. Starr has spent years
and Millions investigating Clinton and could not find ANY lies,
or misbehavior on anything besides him diddling some girl.

Should he resign?......Yes, if he lied "under oath"....otherwise
I accept his remorsefulness. Since you never liked him to begin
with, it may be hard to find ANY redeeming qualities about him,
but look at the facts. Our country is thriving, Welfare is
practicully gone, the deficit is gone, etc., etc.

It amazes me your lack of any compassion. He has done many
good things, yet you want him totally and absolutely destroyed.
Well, while that happens the market will fall to new lows until
the matter is resolved, so even for practical reasons,
let him get his congressional reprimand, and let us ALL start
moving back towards building a great America.

Barb, without getting into whether he should or should not, what effect do you think Bill's resignation would have on the country and the stock market? Do you have confidence in Al Gore?
