I didn't think I was damning him with faint praise - but if that's your opinion, you're entitled.

You are right. I did not look at his prior postings before I first became involved with Tava. While watching the game today, I played around with the Tava thread which now has 23,186 postings. It appears that his first one was #19098 on June 24th which referenced back to #1173 on this thread - and in that posting he provided a full, clear and well thought out analysis of why he had added Tava to his Doom List. Later, in his posting #19254 on the 25th of June (a busy day for him fielding posts that argued with him) he said "I suspect fraudulent stock promotion...." to which nobody including myself could criticize - it was clearly his opinion.

Somewhere along the line, and prior to when I became involved with Tava, his posts changed character from "I suspect fraudulent stock promotion..." to the "Tava Fraud".

As all know, people are in and out of these threads all the time... and not more than two weeks is usually all the history a new reader will want to deal with - particularly on as busy a thread as Tava's. Wexler undoubtedly knows this too. He could have stopped the criticisms by me and many, many others on the Tava thread if he had referenced some of his earlier postings and commented that his declarations of the "Tava Fraud" were simply a short-hand that went back to postings that clearly spelled out his reasoning. I suspect that in not doing this in face of my criticisms was part of the cat-and-mouse game he was thoroughly enjoying with me and others.

Whenever it was that he changed from carefully expressed opinion or if he ever documented a fraud I don't know. I'm certainly not going to search out close to 4,000 postings on the Tava thread (between #19254 and #23186) to find out - although if you have specific postings you might want to let me and others know what they are.
