Vin, you are missing the point here.Monica was not the president of the USA, but Mr. Clinton IS!! What she does is her private affair, but what he does is a public affair and lying under oath, particular for his private matters, not for the national well being, should be a no no, for him as well as for any citizen. If you lie under oath and got found out you go to jail and have a mark for the rest of your live. What makes you think there is a special law for presidents? My parents used to tell me,that if you don't want to get caught, DON'T do it!!

Vin,-
I think you are missing the point here.
Our Liar President:
Lied under oath to the grand jury three times.
He obstructed justice and suggested to jointly conceal the truth of their relationship.
He tampered with potential witnesses by attempting corrupt influence in the testimony ( Betty Currie).
He tried to obstruct justice during the grand jury investigation by refusing to testify for seven month.
He abused his constitutional authority by lying to the public and Congress.

Save your money!

Dang, rough on the ladies! Hey, no one has said the Monica is an angel, but she has shown more class through all of this than Clinton has. It takes two to mingle and so what if a young woman was infactuated with the President. This is all about power ain't it. Clinton knows the honorable thing to do would be to resign, but he is selfish and does not want to go down is history as the president that had to resign over a BJ coverup. This whole thing is silly, but it happened. Our actions determine our fate; Clinton screwed up AGAIN and this time he went too far. Don't blame Monica without blaming the President. The President is over twice her age and should know better buy now after the Flowers and Jones mistakes he made. Clinton should have his nuts chopped off because of the hurt he has caused the first lady. KM

You say:
>Why did
she do it? NINE TIMES, no less. Everyone seems to be placing the blame squarely
on the president.<

This from Mr. Starr's report:
According to Ms. Lewinsky, the President explained that they had to
end their intimate relationship.(476) Earlier in his marriage, he told her,
he had had hundreds of affairs; but since turning 40, he had made a
concerted effort to be faithful.(477) He said he was attracted to Ms.
Lewinsky, considered her a great person, and hoped they would
remain friends. He pointed out that he could do a great deal for her.
The situation, he stressed, was not Ms. Lewinsky's fault.(478) Ms.
Lewinsky, weeping, tried to persuade the President not to end the
sexual relationship, but he was unyielding, then and subsequently.(479)
Although she and the President kissed and hugged thereafter,
according to Ms. Lewinsky, the sexual relationship was over.(480)

If she is a shameless bitch what does this make him. She says he told her before he turned forty he had hundreds of affairs. Wow What a really nice guy. And I don't think one has to wonder any longer why Hillary doesn't sleep with the schmuck. Does disease ring a bell to anyone in this day and age.
