The conference that started the thread was Bear Stearns. Ligand presents there toward the end of this month. It's the Bear Stearns 1998 Health Care Conference held at the Waldorf Astoria in NY,NY from Sept 23-25. It's more for teh big boys, while the conference today is more retail. Major announcements are more likely at the upcoming conferences run by the braokerage house. LGND will be presenting at Bear Stearns, Robertson Stephens, and Oppenheimer this year (and H&Q next yesr).
