What happened on Friday to the internets? ASND,KLIC,KLAC,PMCS happened This is a prevelant question in e-mail since Friday evening. I think Options Jerry hit the nail on the head when he said 'money is moving out of internets into the technology sector'. While waiting with my net poised to swipe in LCOS I noticed that KLIC, KLAC, ZBRA, MCRS, NETA,FORE were all accelerating impressively. Although KLIC,NETA and FORE were on the watch lists and have had consecutive days of increases, I was not prepared for that much of an increase. There are certainly many GEMS among the ruins. The days when ADCT ranked supreme. Are the chip makers coming back? Is TXCC a good buy? Has INTC's impressive break through resistance at 84 cleared the way for AMAT, TXN? Semiconductors like XLNX, QLGC,MCRL,MXIM,LLTC,LSCC? How about the software sector? Is is time to see ITWO rebound? SEBL good for so long, is that reversing? CTXS? I remember asking these same questions July 1996... Are we in for a revival of the sector? I hope so. Earnings season will tell us. The only companies that survive will be the ones who can show their earnings are back on track. We have 6 weeks of earnings to track.. Do we get back in and ride it up? We'll see.
