<<quite a compelling argument, even on its face.>>
The little it would take to turn AXC into a fine to extra fine investment from here is compelling to me too, Randy. The flip side is that if their efforts to grow continue to come up empty, it'll go below 1 and stay there.Always risks at any price. In my opinion though, the MicroNet acquisition is real evidence of probable acquisition results and MicroNet will do just fine for them. If MicroNet sales have, as Bramson said, already picked up, and if they are operating at break even or better ahead of schedule ...it already is doing just fine. With a minimal dilution of shares and only a small chip out of the warchest.
Funny how when most shareholders probably thought the risk of owning AXC was the least...right after the Maxtor agreement, when we thought others would soon follow and the litigations would be slam dunks and DST would keep on growing and new products would spring from R&D.... that was the time when risk actually turned out to be the greatest. Now when so many( including me) are viscerally disenchanted, long term risk may be the least. Ain't that so often the way of the markets.
