Sorry Greg, I wasn't suggesting you were making the noise! I was just commenting on the idea that religious groups, who I believe don't pay taxes, should be deciding who gets to be president. I agree with Dougjn that it is a lot of blather, noise and hysteria about not much and he'll stay in office. Hillary putting in support is the key. I think she is like a Roman Emperor. Thumbs up, he stays, thumbs down, his life would become very very messy indeed. I think the crowd is watching her. It seems that the report is all about Lewinksy. And Starr's right to know the gory details, under oath, thank you very much. Wasn't it all about a 1970s Whitewater deal, FBI files, travel arrangements with this stuff entering the picture late in the piece? The constitutional bribery, corruption, high crimes and misdemeanours seems to mean a bit more than speeding, parking tickets, infidelity, or even misleading a court over such a thing as having sex with a secretary, be it in the office or not. If the truth was out, there would be a LOT of sacked judges, congressmen, senators etc etc and impeachment coming out your ears. Meanwhile, the 3G negotiations seem to be going really well. I love it when people can avoid lawyers and courts. I'm sure the Qualcomm side is quite capable of it. Maybe the L M Ericsson side is too. After Zenit and the script, I'm looking for some good news. Mqurice PS: Are people really surprised that Clinton lied to the American people? This seems so naive as to be unbelievable. There has been a litany of lying in politics and normal life. Don't mistake that as agreement with it. Just acknowledgement of the fact and the need to distrust the things people say. That is why reputation is so valuable. We like people we can trust. Did any of you really trust Bush, or Reagan, or Carter, or Nixon [Ford doesn't count], or Johnson, or Kennedy, I can't remember Eisenhower. I care if he goes. But I don't care if he stays. And he'll do it all again. It's his personality. I agree with Clark, it's pretty grotty to expect Currie to organize Monica meetings.
