>>Amazing times we live in<<

Shadow,

Amazing indeed. I find it an interesting phenomenon to see supposedly "professional" people, using their real names posting messages all of these threads justifying lying and dishonesty. I agree with you, I also do business with people whose word is their bond, if I saw one of my business associates' names in a public forum indicating such a cavalier acceptance of felonious dishonesty, I think I would be re-evaluating the relationship fast. A person who would accept lying under oath would surely have no problem lying to advance a business deal.....bp

It may more due to the power of mainstream media - its pervasive reach into American hearts and minds to shape our opinions. As far as media is concerned Clinton is 'one of us' - our generation, our boy, a rock-n-roll president, a cool guy with a healthy appetite for women. 90% of Washington journalists voted for Clinton in '92 and '96. So they suppressed Gennifer Flowers story, they laughed at Paula Jones accusation, they refused to look into Arkansas mischiefs, misreported on seriousness of Clinton character problems, etc. etc. They even killed the Monica Lewinsky story until Drudge scooped it out in the open.

The fact is you are a blind if you depend on mainstream media's spoon feeding the news you SHOULD know. It is only in the internet and the talk radio some of these disconcerting 'rumours' started to emerge.
And by golly, the 'rumours' are proving to be true... one by one!!!

Character is supremely important, Shadow, however it's not that easy to find a Chief Exec. capable of producing the booming economy we've enjoyed since Clinton is President.

He didn't do it alone, I know.

We've had many Presidents of integrity, but what was the state of the union during their administrations?......rampant inflation with Carter.....higher taxes & unemployment with Bush, etc.

Where's the wisdom in throwing the "baby out with the bath water?"

Censure would be punishment enough, assuming the Pres.' lawyers can prove he did not commit perjury. They and many others seem to feel they can do just that in this case.
