Thanks for posting that story. I think it was originally published in Wired, was it not? Anyway, I recall reading it, and am glad to have a more permanent copy on my Mac. A lot of fun dreamin' and speculatin'.

Just got back from visiting my boat, where I oiled some of the teak
on deck. How nice it would be to be able to connect to the web
from the boat. It is possible today - just a matter of money.
