Well, we needed the rain - just not all at once! Now that the ground has soaked up the moisture, half of the doors in my house stick. Hopefully, it won't escalate into cracks in the sheetrock. Anyway, there is a lot of merit in being a contrarian. I've played the semi-eqips (NVLS and KLAC) that way, but got faked out and went long too early. I'll average down there but not yet. I think it's time to do the same on the oil service sector, and will probably do so on the next big market down day, which could easily come this week. These things are so undervalued from a long term perspective that missing the first 20 or 30 percent of their recovery is no big deal. Hell, most of 'em have to double for me to just get whole. Needless to say with my over-weighting in those two sectors, it's been a tough year for me. Regards, David
