The press at the time did not pursue such matters, nor did rival politicians or investigators.< The press did not create this scandal. Sam Donaldson was not the guy who asked the question "Did you have sex with Monica L?" The question was asked in court in a case about him exposing himself and propositioning sex. Asking if he did something similar to Monica is very relevant. He perjured himself and committed a felony. A felon cannot be president. He has to go.
