If you're not holier than us you're in sad shape.

Jerry Favors on CNBC yesterday predicted a rally to 8100 from here, then a retest of 7500 which will give way. He expects a low in October at much lower levels and then a rally into the spring followed by what may be a final low in March at 40 to 50% of the Dow's July peak.

I guess we had to get all the lurid details because someone kept choosing to lie, lie and lie again. I, like you, are sick to death of this story, but I plan to read every last word of the report. I feel it is my duty as a citizen of this great country.

M: Re: "It would be nice to get on a STOCK Thread and talk STOCKS and discuss where the market is going (especially Mr. Brinker's take). Yes, I realize that what is happening in Washington may very well effect the Market, but the frenzy following the story is as ludicrous as the Story itself."

Relax. Unfortunately for you and the rest of us, what does go on in Washington does affect the market and that is why the Drudge blurb was posted. Drudge has missed on some things but he has been out in front several times in the Lewinsky matter. Remember, the Democratic leasdership was told that there were no more surprises by the President. If this report is true and proof of something else going on, the leadership is more likely to take a ride to visit Clinton and talk about early retirement benefits.

But feel free to talk about Brinker and the markets. That is why we are here. Did you have something to say on these topics? Funny how your post never did touch on the topics that you stated were of interest to you but instead discusses only the topic that you did not want to see discussed anymore.
